Escape Zoom Update 2


This update has been mostly targeted at enhancing the user experience and making it much more intuitive. We have incorporated feedback from several testers to remove some of the more annoying aspects of the game, and improve upon what we already have.
Here is a short description of the changes made:

  • Color-coded the numbers for the first padlock so the players dont have to guess the order
  • Added particles and color effects to the chemical puzzle in the third room to let the user know what they are doing
  • Made the basketball hoop dispense coins, which can now be used since we. . .
  • Added a very basic sabotage system, allowing the user to convert coins into short de-buffs for the other team
  • Fixed the players having insane reach and being able to interact/grab through walls
  • updating the cursor so its easier to see when something is interactable

The next update will likely include more content for the third room, and an update to some of the textures in the game. The shop is currently very basic, and we plan on adding a better UI, and adding more sabotages and/or buffs.
